Gymnast Simone Biles captured her 20th world championship gold medal as Team USA won its seventh consecutive title in Antwerp Belgium on October 4. Simone Biles is by far the most decorated gymnast in history with 33 medals from world competitions and at the Olympics. Biles was able to perform the vault with such difficulty that it was the very first thing an individual woman had ever done it on the international stage. Biles II is now the brand name of the Yurchenko dual pike vault that was previously known as Yurchenko. The record-breaking gymnast who is participating in her first international meet since 2021 competes in the all-around individual final on the evening of October 6. Born in 1997 at Columbus Ohio Simone was taken out of the home of her birth mother, who suffered from addiction. She was put in foster care with her siblings. His maternal grandfather Air Force veteran Ron and his wife, a retired nurse Nellie took over the responsibility for the children and legally adopting Simone at 6 years old along with her baby sister Adria. Simone as well as her siblings were adopted by their maternal aunt.
