Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix was 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a professional career with Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium throughout her competitions in the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
