Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to an agreement to Adidas. In 2004, she was enrolled at her first year at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Her first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics, in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she was the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three in all her races.
