Zachary Galifianakis

 Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation 01 October 1969) was a famous American comedian, actor and musician. He also wrote and comedian. He was a part of the Comedy Central Presents special and presented his show Late World with Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has been featured in movies including The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He was also in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) and Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis has voiced characters in animated films such as Puss In Boots (2011) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). He also voices Missing Link (2019) and Ron's Gone wrong (2211). Galifianakis is currently host of Funny or Die's talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis appeared in the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on October 1 1969 in Wilkesboro. He is the father of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil dealer. His mother is an English-Irish as well as Scottish and his paternal grandparents are Greek immigrants from Crete. He was baptized according to his father's Greek Orthodox faith. He is the father of Merritt and a younger sister and Greg, a brother older than him. The cousin Nick Galifianakis is a Washington Post cartoonist, and his uncle, Nick Galifianakis is also a politician. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School. He then attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. He was radio operator at an access station for the public while in college. He taught waltz in 1991 when he met Mary J. Blige. Galifianakis joined Saturday Night Live two weeks after his TV debut on Boston Common. He's said "I did work on Saturday Night Live for two weeks. Britney Spears hosted the show for one week while I was doing it. I created a sketch. Will Ferrell was to be her bodyguard at her belly button. We were going to shrink Will so that he could become the belly button. After I explained it to them, she looked at me. She then added, "Yeah, that's funny." Galifianakis played Out Cold's main character, and she also played small parts in Below, Bubble Boy, Heartbreakers and Into the Wild.
