Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone, also known as Emma was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 6, 1988 to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), who is a housewife, as well as Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO of a company for contracting founder and CEO). She is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone started acting in the ages of a child, as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in the production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". As she grew older, Stone participated in various other productions until she made acting her career. Informally, she developed an PowerPoint presentation, supported by Madonna's "Hollywood", and entitled "Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to let her quit school and move to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted by the parents, she and her mother moved to LA. She continued her education at home and was able to audition. She made her TV debut in 2004, when she was cast in the role of Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family. This brought her a host of minor TV performances in the years following. After several performances that were successful, she was able to play Jules in Superbad (2007). Her fame was as Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by several more roles. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's a redhead the natural hair color of her hair is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested she change her hair's color for Superbad (2007). The movie was so well received that she chose to keep it. At age 15, she persuaded her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood by creating a PowerPoint presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She got her start in acting at the age of 11 age in the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she performed in more than 16 stage productions , as well as performing in the theatre's comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan also appeared at the Valley Youth Theatre.
