Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush Big Time Rush, an American
pop boy group formed in 2009, is a pop group from America. The group consists
of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They
first signed with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them
to their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television show, Big Time
Rush. The show aired from the beginning of November 28th, 2009 until July 25
2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first promo single, "Big Time
Rush". The group released three studio albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate
(2011), and 24/Seven (2013). The band went on an indefinite hiatus from 2014
that lasted until 2021 when the band resumed live performances and released
their single "Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time
Rush a record deal in 2009 while simultaneously airing the tv show Big Time
Rush. Nickelodeon also joined forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group for
production and music that is original. The series' debut single, "Big Time
Rush" was released on the 29th, 2009. The announcement was made by
Nickelodeon in November 2009, the show premiered for the first time in the
Americas. The single was then released internationally. The series premiered on
a one-hour special preview of the series and it is currently the show's main
theme. The show also saw release of promotional singles such as "City is
Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush remixed
"Famous" by Play. The song came out on iTunes on June 29th in 2010.
Another track, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes on April 27,
2010, after its premier on the series. It soon became their first hit song to
chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 , thanks to digital sales.
On September 21, 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget
About You" in promotion of the debut album's release. The album, called
BTR It was released on October 11 10th, 2010. The album debuted at the top of
three on the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000 copies in its first week.
