Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell became famous as an actor on "Saturday Night Live". Then, he appeared in several comedies on the big screen, such as Elf, ' Anchorman' and ‘Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his comedy career as an actor in the improv troupe based in Los Angeles, the group known as the Groundlings. After a seven-year run as a Saturday Night Live cast member, Ferrell was one of the top comedians in the business through off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell is also co-creator of the popular video streaming website Funny or Die, and was a successful voiceover actor through animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on the 16th of July 1967, in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell was the youngest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell as well as instructor Kay Ferrell. He was, by his own admission, not exactly the class clown when he was a University High School student. The quiet and studious Ferrell made his mark on the football field and set an academic record for the highest number of field goals made. Ferrell was a more relaxed person at home in the suburbs, and he didn't display the same kind of outrageous or humorous flashes that would later define his career. "Very even-tempered, and very comfortable," his mother recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You know those little Matchbox cars? Will would arrange his Matchbox cars completely by himself and be completely satisfied. You'd ask "Do you want to go Disneyland this morning?" or "You want your cars lined up?" It would be a difficult discussion for him to think about. "That's not to say that Ferrell was a total straight man. One of Ferrell's comedy talent was shown each morning at high school when he disguised himself to announce what was happening on the PA system. Ferrell earned his degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1986. He was a member of Delta Tau fraternity, and completed a degree in sports journalism.
